1. Purpose and Scope
This Acceptable Use Policy (the "Policy") describes permitted and prohibited uses of SmartPRICE websites, web applications, login portals, demo environments, pilot environments, customer-specific environments, subdomains, documentation, reports, exports, and related services made available by or on behalf of The Rehancement Group, Inc. ("TRG," "we," "us," or "our").
This Policy applies to all users who access or use SmartPRICE, including public website visitors, demo request submitters, pilot users, subscription users, government users, government contractor users, commercial users, private-sector users, nonprofit users, education users, and other authorized organizational users.
2. Relationship to Other Agreements
This Policy supplements the SmartPRICE Terms of Service and any applicable order form, pilot agreement, subscription agreement, statement of work, government contract, task order, purchase order, nondisclosure agreement, or other written agreement accepted by TRG and the applicable customer.
If this Policy conflicts with a separately executed written agreement, the written agreement controls to the extent of the conflict. For government customers, applicable government contract terms control where required by law or contract.
Capitalized terms used but not defined in this Policy have the meanings given to them in the SmartPRICE Terms of Service.
3. Authorized Use
SmartPRICE may be used only by authorized users for lawful procurement, sourcing, price research, vendor comparison, market analysis, supply chain, contracting, audit support, and related business workflows.
Authorized users may use SmartPRICE to upload approved parts lists, select matching strategies, choose vendor sources, run automated lookups, review normalized results, access run history, validate source links, and export results for internal review and downstream business workflows, subject to this Policy and applicable written agreements.
4. Account and Credential Rules
- Do not share usernames, passwords, one-time codes, API keys, or other credentials.
- Do not allow unauthorized users to access SmartPRICE through your account.
- Do not misrepresent your identity, employer, agency, customer, role, or authorization level.
- Do not bypass login screens, role restrictions, access controls, usage limits, or customer-specific environment boundaries.
- Promptly notify TRG if you suspect unauthorized access, account compromise, credential exposure, or misuse of SmartPRICE.
5. Prohibited Technical Activity
Users may not attempt to access, copy, extract, reconstruct, or interfere with SmartPRICE or its non-public functionality except as expressly authorized by TRG in writing.
- Do not scrape, crawl, spider, harvest, mirror, frame, index, bulk download, or systematically extract SmartPRICE content, Outputs, databases, workflows, documentation, UI elements, source links, or platform materials.
- Do not reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, reconstruct, or attempt to discover source code, object code, algorithms, data schemas, vendor connector implementation, matching logic, system architecture, models, prompts, non-public APIs, or non-public functionality.
- Do not use bots, automated scripts, unauthorized browser automation, unauthorized API calls, load generators, scanners, scraping tools, or other automated tools against SmartPRICE without TRG written approval.
- Do not bypass rate limits, access restrictions, authentication, authorization, session controls, vendor selection limits, or technical safeguards.
- Do not interfere with SmartPRICE availability, performance, security, logs, monitoring, integrations, databases, or third-party service connections.
- Do not upload, transmit, or introduce malware, ransomware, spyware, malicious scripts, exploit code, corrupted files, or harmful content.
6. Prohibited Data and Content
Unless TRG expressly agrees in writing that a specific SmartPRICE environment is approved for a particular data type, users must not upload, submit, transmit, store, or process the following through SmartPRICE:
- Classified information.
- Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI).
- Export-controlled technical data, International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) data, or other restricted technical data.
- Protected health information, payment card data, personal financial information, Social Security numbers, or similar regulated personal information.
- Credentials, passwords, secrets, API keys, private tokens, database connection strings, security keys, or authentication materials.
- Customer, vendor, employee, or third-party data that the user is not authorized to upload or process through SmartPRICE.
- Unlawful, infringing, defamatory, harassing, fraudulent, misleading, malicious, or unauthorized content.
If a customer requires SmartPRICE to handle regulated, sensitive, controlled, or government-restricted data, that requirement must be addressed in a separate written agreement before such data is submitted.
7. Third-Party Service and AI Processing Boundaries
SmartPRICE may use third-party cloud, hosting, data storage, security, analytics, artificial intelligence, vendor-access, proxy, browser automation, monitoring, and infrastructure providers to operate, secure, support, maintain, and improve the Services.
Users must not submit data that is restricted, regulated, sensitive, or outside the approved data scope for the applicable SmartPRICE environment. Users are responsible for ensuring that uploaded part numbers, manufacturer names, descriptions, prices, search terms, and other data may be processed through SmartPRICE and its service providers.
8. Vendor Source and Lookup Rules
SmartPRICE may access or reference third-party marketplaces, vendor websites, APIs, product pages, search results, and external data sources. Users may not misuse SmartPRICE to create excessive, unauthorized, deceptive, or harmful traffic to vendor sources or to circumvent vendor restrictions.
- Do not run excessive, abusive, or unnecessary lookups that could degrade SmartPRICE or vendor source performance.
- Do not attempt to bypass SmartPRICE vendor selection, throttling, caching, queueing, source-access, or connector controls.
- Do not use SmartPRICE to conduct unauthorized scraping, credentialed access, purchase automation, inventory manipulation, click fraud, or vendor account abuse.
- Do not remove, obscure, or misrepresent vendor source links, source context, match indicators, confidence scores, or other supporting evidence in Outputs.
9. Output Use and Validation
SmartPRICE Outputs are decision-support materials. Users remain responsible for independently reviewing, validating, documenting, and applying Outputs before relying on them for procurement, sourcing, acquisition, pricing, audit, proposal, negotiation, contract, or business decisions.
- Do not represent SmartPRICE Outputs as a final legal, procurement, audit, price reasonableness, compliance, or award determination unless the applicable customer has independently reviewed and approved that conclusion.
- Do not remove or alter context that is necessary to understand an Output, including vendor source links, timestamps, selected matching strategy, confidence indicators, or run metadata.
- Do not knowingly use inaccurate, stale, incomplete, or misleading Outputs without appropriate review and correction.
10. Competitive Use Restrictions
Unless TRG provides prior written consent, users may not use SmartPRICE, Outputs, documentation, screenshots, demos, workflows, non-public product information, or access to the Services to build, train, benchmark, test, improve, support, or market a competing product or service.
- Do not copy SmartPRICE workflows, UI, templates, vendor connector logic, matching approach, run history design, report formats, documentation, or other TRG materials for a competing product.
- Do not use Outputs or SmartPRICE-generated data to train, fine-tune, evaluate, or improve third-party AI systems, price research tools, scraping tools, data products, or competing services without TRG written approval.
- Do not disclose non-public SmartPRICE features, roadmap information, pricing, demos, screenshots, performance data, or technical details except as authorized by TRG or an applicable written agreement.
11. Security Testing and Vulnerability Reporting
Users may not perform vulnerability scanning, penetration testing, load testing, exploit testing, social engineering, phishing, credential testing, security probing, or other security testing against SmartPRICE without TRG prior written authorization.
Users who discover a suspected vulnerability, security issue, credential exposure, or data incident should report it promptly to TRG at SmartPRICE@rehancement.com and should not publicly disclose the issue or attempt to exploit it.
12. Confidentiality and Non-Public Information
Users may receive access to non-public SmartPRICE information, including demos, documentation, screenshots, workflows, performance information, pricing, technical information, roadmap information, and other TRG materials. Users must protect non-public TRG information with reasonable care and may use it only for authorized evaluation, procurement, pilot, subscription, contract, or business purposes.
- Do not publish non-public SmartPRICE screenshots, demos, pricing, workflows, technical details, or roadmap information without TRG approval.
- Do not share SmartPRICE account access, customer-specific environment details, or non-public materials with unauthorized third parties.
- Do not remove, obscure, or alter copyright, trademark, confidentiality, proprietary, attribution, or other notices.
13. Legal and Compliance Requirements
Users must use SmartPRICE in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, contract requirements, procurement rules, export control laws, sanctions requirements, privacy laws, government ethics rules, records retention obligations, agency policies, customer policies, and third-party rights.
Users are responsible for obtaining any license, approval, clearance, consent, or authorization required for their use of SmartPRICE, their User Data, their Outputs, and any resulting procurement, sourcing, contract, or business decision.
14. Monitoring, Enforcement, and Suspension
TRG may monitor use of SmartPRICE to operate, secure, support, troubleshoot, maintain, and improve the Services and to investigate suspected violations of this Policy, the Terms of Service, or applicable written agreements.
TRG may suspend, restrict, or terminate access if TRG reasonably believes that a user or customer has violated this Policy, created a security, legal, operational, contractual, or reputational risk, used SmartPRICE unlawfully, attempted unauthorized access, or exceeded the authorized scope of use.
TRG may also remove or restrict access to content, data, files, or Outputs that TRG reasonably believes violate this Policy, applicable law, or an applicable written agreement.
15. Reporting Violations
Users should promptly report suspected violations of this Policy, unauthorized access, data misuse, credential exposure, security concerns, or other SmartPRICE misuse to SmartPRICE@rehancement.com.
Reports should include the reporting user name, organization, contact information, description of the issue, relevant dates, affected accounts or files if known, and any supporting details that may help TRG investigate.
16. Government Customers and Written Agreement Precedence
For federal, state, local, tribal, or other government customers, this Policy applies only to the extent permitted by applicable law and the applicable government contract. Nothing in this Policy is intended to modify procurement law, appropriations law, sovereign immunity, mandatory contract clauses, audit rights, data rights, security requirements, or other mandatory government requirements.
If SmartPRICE is provided under a government contract, task order, purchase order, prime contract, subcontract, schedule contract, pilot agreement, or other written agreement, that written agreement controls to the extent it conflicts with this Policy.
17. Changes to This Policy
TRG may update this Policy from time to time. Updated versions may be posted on the SmartPRICE website, made available through the Services, sent by email, or provided through another reasonable notice method. Unless a written agreement states otherwise, continued use of SmartPRICE after an updated Policy becomes effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
